APPC "Enough For All" Capital Campaign

In January 2024, we launched the “Enough for All” capital campaign with a clear goal: to enhance, repair, and renovate our three properties—the main church building, the Fellowship Building across the street, and Camp Wakanda in Northern Michigan.

We are investing significantly in all our facilities acting in good faith to improve and enhance them. We invite everyone to join us by contributing at least a dollar a day for the next five years.  Your support ensures that our spaces remain welcoming and accessible to all. The progress has been remarkable! Thanks to the campaign:

Camp Wakanda Improvements:
  • Our campers now enjoy a new, larger, sandy beach at Camp Wakanda.
  • New metal roofs have been installed on all buildings, ensuring durability and safety.
  • Bathroom renovations in Lodge and Dining Hall.
  • New curtains in all the rooms!
Main Church Building Enhancements:
The main church building has seen improvements, too:
  • Our beautiful stained glass windows in the sanctuary have been refurbished.
  • Electrical and plumbing updates ensure safety and efficiency.

Fellowship Building Revival:

Our Fellowship Building, a vibrant hub, has undergone significant updates:
  • The commercial kitchen, damaged by floods, has been restored to full functionality.
  • Painting, electrical, and plumbing updates have breathed new life into the building.
The Fellowship Building hosts diverse groups, including AA, Scouts, Jazzercise, Pilates, an Aquarium group, a Parkinson’s group, community events and fundraisers and the Downriver Clothing Connection (providing free clothing for elementary-age students). It’s also a venue for weddings, funeral luncheons, and graduation parties.
