The Christmas Giving Tree
This year we are adopting children from local schools to provide Christmas gifts and share joy with families in need. You can participate in several ways — adopt a child, shop for gifts, or donate gift cards.
How to Participate
- Adopt a child: Take a paper tag from the Giving Tree at the church, or sign up online using the button below.
- Shop for gifts: Return all gifts unwrapped to the church by noon on Monday, December 15. Label each gift with the child’s number and letter so it can be matched correctly.
- Gift cards: To ensure every child receives something special and gifts are equitable, we accept gift cards from Amazon, Kohl’s, Meijer, Roblox, Target, Walmart, and Ulta. Gift cards help fill gaps so no child is left out.

The Mitten Tree
For more than 40 years our Mitten Tree has collected new and handmade hats, mittens, scarves, and gloves for men, women, and children — including infants — throughout Advent.
How the Mitten Tree Works
On December 15, children’s items will be set aside for the Giving Tree. All other donations will continue to be collected through the end of the year. These gifts of warmth are distributed to local nonprofit partners to support families in need.
