Game Night (Third Friday 7 to 9 PM)Are you ready for some fun and fellowship? Join us for a board game night hosted by the Nurture and Discipleship Committee on Friday, October 20 from 7-9 PM in the Fellowship Hall this month. Whether you’re a fan of Scrabble, Monopoly, Uno, or something else, we have games for everyone. You can also bring your games if you like. All you need to do is bring a snack to share (optional) and your competitive spirit. We’ll provide water and lemonade to keep you hydrated. New Lay-Led Study (Parlor and Zoom)Join our lay-led study of the Book of Confessions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The study will consist of six sessions exploring the creeds and confessions of the Book of Confessions.
Confessions hold a significant place in our faith tradition, as they signify our willingness to adapt our beliefs based on the word of God, the influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and our own introspection. This process of continuous reform is at the core of our faith. The study will be held on the third Wednesday of every month, except for December and January, and will end on March 24, 2024. It will be a hybrid study, held at 7 p.m., both in-person in the parlor and online through Zoom. Here are the dates for each session:

Cardmaking Class (September 19)Come and join us for a monthly cardmaking class on the third Tuesday of the month from 10 AM to Noon in the parlor. This is a fun opportunity to enjoy fellowship and learn new skills while creating your own greeting cards. The cost is only $5 per class, and all proceeds will go to the Honeycomb Food Pantry. Please bring your own scissors and adhesives. Space is limited to ten people per class, so register early! You need to sign up each month for the class. The next class is Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Camp Wakanda Work WeekendWe need your help to make Camp Wakanda a better place for everyone. Whether you are a cook, a cleaner, a carpenter, a plumber, an electrician, or anything in between, you are welcome to join us for a work weekend from October 20 to 22, 2023. Please let us know when you can come and what skills you can offer. We appreciate your support and generosity.

The event aims to support the community in a fun and safe way.
