Flowers bring beauty, hope, and a reminder of God’s loving presence into our worship. At Allen Park Presbyterian Church, the Flower Ministry offers meaningful ways to honor loved ones, celebrate life’s milestones, and share Christ’s grace with our church family.
Fresh Flowers on the Communion Table
Flowers on the Communion Table may be dedicated in memory, honor, or thanksgiving. Cost is $30. To schedule a particular Sunday, contact Rita in the church office at 313-383-0100, ext. 11 or [email protected]. The dedications will be printed in the bulletin on that Sunday and will be announced during the announcements.
Deacons’ Silk Flower Arrangements
The Deacons also offer an alternative to fresh flowers on the Communion Table. You can dedicate the silk floral arrangements provided by the Deacons on any given Sunday. The cost is $25 and supports the ministries of the Deacons. The dedications will be announced on the Sunday you choose and printed in the bulletin. Contact Rita to schedule a Sunday.

Seasonal & Other Flowers
White Rose Announcement
We love celebrating the birth of new babies! If you would like to announce a birth in your family, please contact [email protected]. We will publish the announcement in our church bulletin and during our live Sunday worship service. This ministry is provided at no cost by the Board of Deacons.
Red Rose Announcement
We honor the life of a family member by placing a single silk red rose in the chancel on any Sunday. A brief announcement will be made during worship and printed in the bulletin. There is no cost for this ministry, which is provided by the Board of Deacons.
Seasonal Flowers
During Lent and Advent, we publish a special dedication booklet in honor, celebration, or loving memory of family and friends. There is no cost and no limit to the number of dedications. If donations are received, they support the Flower Ministry throughout the year at Allen Park Presbyterian Church — including Easter Lilies, Christmas Poinsettias, and geraniums.
Christmas Poinsettia Dedications
Celebrate the joy of Christmas by dedicating a poinsettia in honor, celebration,
or loving memory of someone special. These dedications will appear in our
Christmas Eve Poinsettia Booklet.
All dedications are due by Sunday, December 14, 2025.
